The New Leader Scholarship for upper division students.
The scholarship fund is committed to supporting financially disadvantaged students, recent immigrants, and people of color who have demonstrated leadership and a commitment to community service with scholarships of up to $7,000.
The scholarship also provides mentoring, career guidance, and graduate school preparation. Students must have a 3.50 GPA; are planning to pursue advanced education in social and human services, public interest law, health-related fields or public service; and, demonstrate financial need.
LEARN how to apply for the scholarship -- deadline for submission is March 15, 2009.
