EOP Scholars
You certainly remember your initial experiences at San Francisco State University (SFSU) and how, as a freshman or transfer student, you might have felt overwhelmed making the transition to a university. The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) was created to assist students with potential, such as yourself, to succeed in college through its support services. Having successfully earned your degree with the help of EOP, you can now make a difference in another student's life. Because of your success, we invite you to participate in the activities and support of the EOP Scholars program, a program beyond the regular services provided by EOP.
The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is the parent organization of SSS.
The EOP Scholars are dedicated to supporting the mission of EOP by offering additional assistance and resources to the community of students the program serves. EOP Scholars accomplish this through mentoring, workshops, fundraising activities and recruiting EOP graduates willing to volunteer their time and resources.
EOP Scholars' recruiting efforts start here, now, with you, an EOP graduate. We are reaching out to all EOP graduates who would like to give back to the program as well as to the students who now follow in your footsteps. Your participation is encouraged and welcome in any form of commitment. We also reach out to outside organizations, individuals and friends of EOP for their support.
This is a volunteer organization. We are dedicated and committed to this cause, and would like to express our appreciation for your interest and willingness to participate.
