Applying to Graduate Studies and specifically the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership is a Two Part Process.
PART ONE: APPLYING TO THE CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY (CSU)

PART TWO: APPLYING TO THE Ed. D PROGRAM
Apply to the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership program using: Forms A and B.
(Forms are located at the bottom of the Application Process page)
- Form A: Personal Statement: (must be typed, 1000 word limit)
- Form B: Submit three (3) letters of recommendation (see requirements): A separate Form B must be completed and signed by the recommender and attached to each of the recommendation letters with the writers signature across the flap of the envelope.
- Submit your official resume or curriculum vitae.
- Submit two (2) sets of official transcripts from all post-secondary programs attended. (one set is sent to the University and one is sent to the Program). Unofficial transcripts can be submitted, however, official transcripts must be on file, including transcripts with posted bachelor’s and master’s degrees in sealed envelopes by the time of admission.
- Submit GRE scores. Use recipient code: 4684. Unofficial scores can be submitted with your application package, but official scores will be necessary for admission.

For the Program
Submit all of your Ed.D. Program application forms, 1 set of transcripts and documents in one large envelope as a “self-managed portfolio”. All documents must be in by the deadline date. Please use the checklist form provided as you guide to completing the application for the program. All application transcripts, forms and documentation must be received by the deadline.
