PARKING INFORMATION COST Applications for a waiver of the parking fees are available at DPRC. Applicants must be registered with DPRC and have a DMV placard or plate. CAMPUS PERMIT NEEDED ELIGIBILITY FOR PERMIT THROUGH THE DPRC TO OBTAIN PERMIT ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION FOR PARKING FEE WAIVER 1. Register with Disability Programs and Resource Center. 2. Submit original proof to Disability Programs and Resource Center of a Disabled Person's license plate or placard issued under your name by the Department of Motor Vehicles. Note: Actual placards do not display the holder's name and so cannot be submitted as proof. 3. Demonstrate financial need by submitting a Financial Aid Award letter with this form (if applicable). You are not eligible for a waiver if you receive assistance for parking fees from the Department of Rehabilitation or any other agency. If you meet the above criteria, please submit a Request for Waiver of Campus Parking Fee form available from Disability Programs and Resource Center located in building SS 110 or the Office of Parking and Transportation Services in the Corporation Yard. CAMPUS REGULATIONS To use blue spaces, you must have BOTH a DMV placard and an SFSU permit. DMV PLACARD/PLATE HOLDERS: You may park in any legal space in lots 2, 19, 20 and 25 regardless of permit assignment. In lot 6, before 5 p.m. you are restricted to blue zones only. After 5 p.m. you may park in any legal space. Lot 2: Lot 2 is no longer a metered lot. You must have an SFSU permit to park in either the regular parking spaces or the 7 new blue spaces. Lot 6: Before 5 p.m. you may park only in the blue zones. You must have a DMV placard or plate along with an SFSU permit. After 5 p.m. you may also park in non-blue zones. Lot 19: This permit allows you access to Lots 19, 20, and 25. SFSU PERMIT/PLACARD NOT SHOWING = TICKET. Even if you have been issued a parking permit, if you forget to have it showing you may be ticketed. If you have a DMV placard but forget to have it showing when you used a blue space, you may be ticketed. |
