Graduate Commencement Ceremony Guest Services for Friday, May 23, 2014
Access services for the Commencement Ceremony for Graduate level students on Friday, May 23rd in Cox Stadium, will be available to guests who are elderly, have mobility limitations or have other disabilities. Guests who are unable to stand or walk for extended periods of time are strongly encouraged to bring a wheelchair, as the distances from the shuttle stop to your vehicle and to seating can be rather long. A list of local vendors who rent wheelchairs on a daily or weekly basis is located below.
Following the ceremony, please arrange to meet family and friends at your vehicle or on the upper campus. Graduates will be asked to leave the stadium by the pathway on which they entered, towards the area in front of the Student Services Building.

Services for deaf or hard-of-hearing guests
The ceremony will be open-captioned on a Jumbotron screen visible throughout the stadium. American Sign Language interpreting will be also be provided near the front of the stadium.
Transportation to seating
Free shuttle service, will be provided between 11:30 am – 1:30 pm from the upper level of the Parking Garage and from the bus stop on 19th Avenue and Holloway Avenue, to wheelchair accessible seating inside the stadium. Transportation from anywhere on campus may be requested by calling 415-338-2472 from 8: 30 am until 4:30 pm. The shuttle drop-off point is located a distance of 1 to 2 blocks from wheelchair accessible seating located on the stadium floor.
Guests requiring transportation to the stadium, should plan to arrive on campus by 12:30 pm in order to be seated in time to see the Processional of graduates at 1:30 pm. Access to the stadium is closed from 1 – 2 pm, during the processional.
