Web & User Services
Mission The mission of Web & User Services is to provide SFSU students, faculty, and staff with a centralized point of contact for all information technology products and services. In addition to referral services we also provide the following specific services with their respective mission statements:
Web Services: Support the needs of campus-wide Web publishing through documentation, consulting and training. Offer ways to host personal and official campus Web sites on SFSU servers. Develop and deploy Web applications that permit visitors to conduct business over the Web in an intuitive, secure, and accessible manner.
Help Desk: Offer advice, instructions, and troubleshooting assistance to resolve technology questions and to help members of the SFSU community make the best use of technology. The Help Desk is committed to quality service through teamwork and a proactive approach to problem identification and solution.
Training Center: Provide quality free computer-related classes to current SFSU students, staff, and faculty that prepare and support them for vocational and academic endeavors.
John F. True 24-hour Computing Lab: Provide a state-of-the-art computing facility for SFSU students where professionalism, respect, and technology work together to support academic pursuits.
