VPN Access

What is the SFSU Virtual Private Network (VPN)?
The SFSU VPN provides a way to access shared Microsoft networking resources located on campus from a computer connected to the Internet.

Who can use it?
The SFSU VPN is designed for staff & faculty who need access to a shared resource on a server or workstation running Microsoft Windows.

Example: You work on the SFSU campus and log into the Admin domain (or another domain) and store files on a particular network share. If you need access to this shared resource from your home or mobile machine configure your system(s) to use the VPN.

How do I configure my system to connect to the SFSU VPN?
Follow the instructions below, for the appropriate operating system, to access networked resources that require an SFSU IP address (e.g., LAN shares).

This is a secure connection.
