In preparation for moving to UNIX, a number of messages have been changed and the format of the Control Report has been changed.

Previously, when SIM306 created a new Student Term Table row, it did not copy over the State University Fee Waiver Code from an existing term row and it should have done this. This error has been fixed.

Cross over processing has been changed so that SIM306 no longer creates new course and term rows for the classes that cross terms. Instead, a campus defined In Progress Grade and a campus defined Footnote Indicator are assigned to the cross over class.

#1122: SIM306 has been modified to include, on the Control Report, a count of the number of students processed by the job.

#1138: SIM306 has been modified to include an option so that non-graded classes can be deleted when the job runs.

#1186: SIM306 has been modified so that it no longer checks to see if regular end of term (SIM037) has been run.

#4114: SIM306 has been modified to update Full Time Status and Full Time Status Date on Student Term Table rows that are created or updated by the job if the Session is in the range of "E1" through "E9".

#4186: Previously, SIM306 would purge all other message tables that had been run for different periods. The message table now includes the Period as a column in the table and the table name no longer includes the period. When SIM306 is run in update mode and if it is NOT a rerun, the job deletes any existing rows in the STU_SIM306_MSG_TABLE where the Period is equal to the Extended Education Current Period.

#4260: Previously, SIM306 would sometimes set Student Level Code incorrectly. This error would occur when the student had applied to graduate for an earlier term, the degree was pending and SIM306 ran. This error has been fixed.

#4308: The text of Message 003 has been changed.

The Option Unit Access Table has been changed to use SIPK0007_FILE_COMPLETION instead of SIPK0007.

#1186: Screen S56 has been modified so that when a Student Course Table row is added, Session ID on the Student Course Table is set to the value entered or displayed on the screen.

Previously, Student Level Code was not updated correctly when the student had a pending degree and the screen was requested for a Term Period greater than pending Degree Period. This error has been fixed.

#3698: Previously, Screen S56 allowed you to enter alphanumeric Section Numbers and this should not have been allowed. This error has been fixed.

The text of message 0391 has been modified.

The processing associated with Duplicate Section Edits was rewritten to avoid full table scans.

#1186: Screen S62 has been modified so that when a Student Course Table row is added, Session ID on the Student Course Table is set to the Section Basic Table value.

Screen S62 has been modified so that Session ID is always displayed from the Student Course Table and not the Section Basic Table. When a reinstatement is done, Session ID on the Student Course Table is updated from the Section Basic Table.

#4287: When Screen S62 adds a new Student Term Table row, it uses a prior period term row, if available, to copy over some of the data. Previously, if the prior period term row belonged to a completed degree objective, Screen S62 always set the Student Level Code to "1" and this wasn't correct. Screen S62 has been changed to set Student Level Code to "5" in this situation.

The Option Unit Access Table has been changed to use SIPK0007_FILE_COMPLETION instead of SIPK0007.

#1186: Screen S65 has been modified so that when a Student Course Table row is added, Session ID on the Student Course Table is set to the Section Basic Table value.

Previously, Screen S25 was not always resetting Full Time Status, Full Time Status Date, and Student Level Code. These errors have been fixed.

#1186: Screen S25 has been modified so that when performing any of the withdrawal, disenrollment or reinstatement functions, only those courses that have not gone through End of Session processing will be modified by this screen. Also, when doing a reinstatement, the Session ID is now picked up from the Section Basic Table.

A new edit has been added to the screen. If there are no courses where the End of Session/Term Indicator is null, there is no action that can be used on Screen S25 and the following message displays: 0520 ALL OF THE CLASSES HAVE GONE THROUGH END OF SESSION

Screen S50 has been modified so that you can request the screen for the Current Period as long as there is at least one Student Course Table row where the End of Session/Term Indicator is not null. If there are no course rows where the End of Session/Term Indicator is not null, message 0519 STUDENT HAS NO ENROLLED OR WITHDRAWN COURSE HISTORY FOR THE REQUESTED PERIOD displays.

The setting of Attendance Status has been changed to consider all rows on the Student Course Table for the requested Period and Session.

If Course Credit Units is changed to null, the form now issues message 0009 COURSE CREDIT UNITS IS REQUIRED.
