Web Access to Telephone Bills Questions and Answers


Who is authorized to access phone bills on the Web?

Department administrators decide who has access to phone bills on the Web. In many cases, the Unit Telecommunications Coordinators, financial coordinators and/or the Dean is authorized. Department administrators should send requests for additions, changes or deletions to the list of authorized personnel to busserv@sfsu.edu

How do I print individual bills?

From the Web, pull down the File menu and select Print Preview. Find the page numbers you want to print. Select Print from the File menu, and specify the appropriate page numbers.

What is my SFSU ID number?

 
 Your SFSU ID is an assigned nine-digit number shown on your OneCard or visit http://www.sfsu.edu/online/troubletips.htm#about to look up SFSU ID.

What is my PAC number?

 
 Your PAC is a 4-digit code provided by SF State's Human Resources department. If you do not already have a PAC, Your PAC is a 4-digit code provided by SF State's Human Resources department. If you do not already have a PAC, visit: http://www.sfsu.edu/online/troubletips.htm

Do I receive any part of the bill by mail?

No.  Both department summaries and individual detailed bills now reside solely on the web.

What if I have to change my cellular rate plan or cancel my services?

How do I initially purchase cellular equipment and services?

New purchase of cellular equipment with standard accessories must be processed using the attached form, and the cost will be added to the departmental monthly telephone bill.

How do I know that my cellular rate plan is the most cost-effective plan?

In order to assist  departments in obtaining the best value in equipment and service plan rates, SF State has negotiated terms and conditions with two local service providers: AT&T (Cingular) and  Verizon. IT Business Services is available to assist in reviewing calling/data plans to ensure the most cost-effective plan.

What if I have phone lines that are no longer need?
