Modem Resources
The modem initialization string is a set of characters which sets up your modem before it dials out, having the correct initialization string can make the difference between having a good connection or having a connection that Internet Software will not work with.
Note: Most newer modems do not require a modem initialization string when connecting to the SFSU modem pool.
