Accessing the Internet from on campus & off Almost any computer with a modem can be used to access the Internet. The operating system of the computer and the type of modem determine if you can use a grapical or text based browser.
To access the Internet you need:
- A SFSU Internet account.
- Computer
- Modem & Telephone line if off campus
- an Ethernet connection if on campus
On campus. Is your computer running...
- Macintosh System 6 & 7
- Macintosh 7.0-7.5
- Macintosh 7.6-9.0
- Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME
Off campus . Is your computer running...
- Macintosh System 6 & 7
