Account Overview

Logins and Passwords (Credentials)

SF State is working on a single sign-on (SSO) service based on LDAP accounts that will allow access to many online campus services using a single set of credentials. Departmental Accounts

Visit E-mail Central for links to Departmental Web and e-mail account forms.

Other logins/passwords

  • Lotus Notes is an e-mail program which uses internal password management, so the password used to login to Lotus Notes may be different from the LDAP password used by the other campus e-mail programs. See the Lotus Notes/Domino Password & Security Guide.
  • Workstations (including individual desktop and laptop computers) should require a password to login. See Securing Your Computer.
