A donor can send a corporate matching gift form with his/her check to the Development Office. On occasion, the form is sent separately from the check.

The form is forwarded with the check to Advancement Services. Advancement Services completes the matching gift form; the Associate Vice President for Advancement/Development signs the form. Advancement Services returns the completed form to the matching company.

The matching corporation sends the check to the Office of University Development. It is processed with other gifts by Advancement Services. A matching corporate gift is posted as a hard credit to the company and a soft credit to the individual employed by the company. Advancement Services processes the check and sends gift receipt/acknowledgement letter to the matching gift corporation. A copy of the acknowledgement letter is sent to the employee donor.
