:: Internship/Service Learning in Communication Studies ::

As part of our curriculum we also offer exciting opportunities to apply communication knowledge and skills in COMM 695: Internship/Service Learning in Communication Studies. As the Internship Director, Dr. Rick Isaacson has developed over 200 internship placements to accommodate a wide-variety of student interests and needs. Many students find that an internship is extremely valuable in clarifying what they want in a career and in giving them valuable work experience.

Our Service Learning provides opportunities to apply what has been learned in other classes. Here the focus is on applying that knowledge in a way that benefits the larger community. Through this experience students acquire valuable skills and additional work experience while learning from and serving others. Contact Dr. Isaacson for more information about Service Learning.
