Speech and Debate Team

All San Francisco State University students are invited to be part of the Speech and Debate Team (also called the Forensics Team) regardless of their major.

The team prides itself in fostering the development of novice speakers as well as seasoned competitors. In fact, supporting and encouraging first-time speakers is one of our team's greatest strengths. Students on the team travel to speech tournaments both inside and outside California. Each year several members of the team qualify to compete at national tournaments. Please consider joining us!
