About the Parent Resource Websites

The parent resource websites were created by the graduate students in the Communicative Disorders Program as part of a course project supervised by the faculty. The website was developed in partnership with Support for Families of Children with Disabilities. Translation efforts were made possible with the funding support from the San Francisco State University's Institute for Civic and and Community Engagement. Spanish and Chinese translations were completed by undergraduate and graduates students at SFSU. The purpose of the project is for students to merge learning with community service by providing parents in the Bay Area with information to better understand and to support their children's speech and language development.
