Members of the College of Humanities understand that technological advances are often important to our work; we recognize that technologies will continue to shape our future. Even as we remain committed to preserving and understanding the past, its written and oral expression, we also value the new ways in which we make meaning of our world. We understand the potential of new technologies to help us reach humanistic goals. We strive for a diversity of scholarship, for deep connections among our many disciplines; we believe technology can help us build bridges. We plan to use technology for these humanistic endeavors, to reveal the past and form the future, and to support and guide other humanists devoted to the same undertakings.
The College of Humanities Student Computer Lab, HUM 407, is open most of each day from Monday to Friday. Student assistants are available to provide students with help. Please check the bulletin board outside of the room for weekly information on hours.
