Instructions for PC Users
The macro for the PC Users is CMS Macro 4PC ver 5-19.xls.
To get macro results:
- Run a SFO_LCD_DEPT report from the query manager. Save the results to your local computer. Open the downloaded report in Excel. If you do not have the macro on your PC, download it below.
- In Excel, open the macro.
Please make sure your macros are enabled, i.e., the security setting for marco should be set to medium setting in excel. (Tools>Macro>Security)
- Go to the downloaded report. On the worksheet tab, right click and rename to LCD.
- Re-save the workbook using ‘Save As’; name it book2.xls.
Make sure the File Type is Excel Office Excel Workbook.
- Click anywhere on book2.xls.
- To activate the macro, select from the menu bar Tools > Macro > Macro...
- You will be greeted with a window which will give you 3 options for results (see Step 8 for descriptions of each macro). Select one, click Run and a new worksheet will be created with the results. A new worksheet (within your Excel workbook) will be created for each option you choose.

EmpSummary: Pivot table that provides an Employee Summary.
Sum_with_Adj: Pivot table that provides Employee Summary and shows adjustments.
Sum_with_FTE: Pivot table that provides Employee Summary and FTE information.
Instructions for MAC Users
The macro for Mac users is MAC CMS Macro 7.xls
To get macro results:
- Run a SFO_LCD_DEPT report from the query manager. Save the results to your local computer. Open the downloaded report in Excel. If you do not have the macro on your Mac, download it below.
- In Excel, open the macro.
Please make sure your macros are enabled, i.e., the security setting for marco should be set to medium setting in excel. (Tools>Macro>Security)
- Go to the downloaded report. On the worksheet tab, right click and rename to LCD. It may be called Sheet1, Sheet2, etc)
- Go to the menu bar and insert a worksheet. Insert > Worksheet. Rename worksheet (not file) to LCDDATA.
- Return to worksheet LCD
- Re-save the workbook using ‘Save As’; name it book2.xls.
Make sure the File Type is Excel Office Excel Workbook
- To activate the macro, hit the keys [CTRL]+R simultaneously. You must be in the worksheet named LCD of the BOOK2 file to execute the macro.
