FALL 2006 FACULTY PROCESSING
Attached are three instruction documents for faculty transaction processing for fall 2006. Paper versions of these memos will follow. One attachment, "ETRAC_FAC_INSTR_FALL2006.doc" provides general guidelines and instructions for regular temporary and tenured/tenure-track faculty transaction processing. For all fall 2006 faculty transaction processing, you will need to reference my previous memos and attached report:

With no new faculty contract ratified at this time, re-appointed faculty shall be hired at the current/most recent base salary (no SSI program until a new contract is ratified). Salary increases associated with Promotion or Equity for tenured/tenure-track faculty or Range Elevation for lecturers will be processed effective fall 2006. This office will centrally process fall 2006 Promotion and Tenure transactions for tenured/tenure-track faculty.
All decentralized faculty, TA and GA transactions will be processed using E-TRAC. Please make sure the appropriate employees in your area have attended E-TRAC training for faculty creator/approver or are registered for training. Please check your email for E-TRAC for faculty transaction manual updates and open-lab dates.
Please note: Teaching Associates and Graduate Assistants are now covered by the Unit 11 UAW bargaining Agreement. A separate communication that covers new guidelines and provision for these employees will follow shortly. For reference, see: http://www.calstate.edu/LaborRel/Contracts_HTML/CBA_Contract/index.shtml
