Known Issues with Internet Explorer 8 Browser and HRMS Applications
The new version of Internet Explorer (i.e. Internet Explorer 8) is not compatible with the PeopleSoft application at this time. Accordingly, some of the functions and features of the HRMS system which includes E-TRAC, Time & Labor, LCD, SF State Careers & Leave accounting will not function with Internet Explorer 8 web browser. We anticipate to have the issue will be resolved in August 2009.
Until this compatibility issue is resolved, we recommend that users refrain from upgrading from Internet Explorer 7 to Internet Explorer 8.
If you have already upgraded to Internet Explorer 8, follow the directions below to un-install it. You may also need to contact your department or unit I.T. support staff to assist you.
- Uninstall IE8 instructions are available on the Microsoft support site at: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957700 Contact local system administrators for assistance.
- IE7 Installation instructions also available on the Microsoft support site at: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx
- (Note: be cautious of the multiple banners and prompts touting IE8.)

The HRMS downtime does not apply to the PeopleSoft Finance system.

The LCD for May 2009 has been completed and is available for online viewing. The June pay end date is 6/30/2009.
