It was on Thursday, August 2, that a ceremony for book donation was
hosted by Beijing Normal University College of Chinese Language and
Culture. Executive Dean of the College Professor Hesheng Zhang, on behalf of
BNU and his college, donated 1,030 Chinese books to the Confucius
Institute at San Francisco State University. Dr. Yenbo Wu, Associate vice
President for International Education at San Francisco State
University, accepted the donation with deep appreciation. Professor YuLan Peng,
head of the College Library, shared with Dr. Wu the book list at the
ceremony. These books are in San Francisco State University, and will
be donated to Chinese Department of SFSU, to public library, and
Confucius Institute at SFSU.
