Create Your Game Plan
The entrepreneurship program wants you to succeed as an entrepreneur and as an SFSU student. We believe you should take a course once and do well. Research has shown that the more core courses you have completed before entering the major, the more likely you will do well the first time you take a course. However, we create entrepreneurs not professional students so it is important that you finish the major/minor in a reasonable amount of time.
Advising is key and you should develop your game plan with an entrepreneurship program advisor who will help you tailor your academic career to help advance advance your business concept if you have one (e.g. Segment III) and help you create a do-able, balanced workload.
The following links provide some examples of game plans— these can be the starting point for a discussion with your advisor. Many of our students work and cannot take five courses per semester; we accommodate that in your plan.
