Physics Readiness Workshop
The Physics Readiness Workshop is a 90-minute presentation which covers the basic mathematical skills necessary to succeed in physics, as well as in other math and science classes. The workshop is geared specifically toward the Physics Readiness Exam that every student has to pass before proceeding in PHYS 111 or PHYS 220. It begins with a review of basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry, followed by time to work on practice problems with one-on-one help from trained math and physics tutors.
You must register for the workshop in person in HSS 346. Workshop has limited availabilty so is first come first served.
We currently have no Physics Readiness Workshops scheduled.
Other Resources: If you are unable to attend our workshop, the Testing Center offers question and answer information about the exam and sample exams. Also, any administrative questions you have about the test should be directed to the Testing Center.
