Appointments & Drop-Ins
Students may make an appointment or drop-in to see a CARP tutor during our tutoring hours.

Appointments can be made by phone or in-person during our tutoring hours. Appointments cannot be made before CARP opens or after CARP closes; you may only make appointments during tutoring hours. Students are only allowed to make appointments at least 24 hours, but no more than 1 week, in advance and are restricted to two appointments a week for each subject (Math, Science, and Business or Writing, Reading and Study Skills). Student may not have more than one tutorial session per day, per subject.
Students who miss their appointments or who cancel less than 1 day ahead of their appointment are considered "no shows". Students who miss three appointments lose the privilege of making appointments for the rest of the semester; however, they can drop-in for a session.

Drop-in tutoring is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and is based on tutor availability. If no tutors are available at a given hour, the reception staff will inform you of the estimated wait time to see a tutor. We highly encourage students to make appointments ahead of time to ensure that they can be seen by a tutor. Students may not have more than one tutorial session per day, per subject.
