The Career Center is ready to help you find a career
that is meaningful, exciting, and fun, while meeting your
needs for earning a living. Most of you will spend half
of your waking hours at work. Finding a satisfying career will make your time at work a lot more
enjoyable!
Meet
with a Career Counselor
The Career Center offers individual career counseling
and career assessments for all students. Working with a
career counselor can help you:
- Decide on a major
- Investigate ways to use your major in the real world
of work
- Discuss your ideas and concerns about career-related
issues
- Make effective career decisions
- Learn how to do a professional job search
- Create a targeted resume
- Develop effective interviewing techniques
A student can meet with a career counselor and ask a quick question during Drop-In Hours, or make a one-on-one career
counseling appointment to discuss issues more in-depth.
Students wishing to schedule an appointment should contact
the career counselor directly. Evening hours are at
the discretion of each counselor.
