Career Counseling

Meet with a Career Counselor | Students With Disabilities | Veterans | Career Assessments | Drop-In Hours | Dr. Al E Gator

The Career Center is ready to help you find a career that is meaningful, exciting, and fun, while meeting your needs for earning a living. Most of you will spend half of your waking hours at work. Finding a satisfying career will make your time at work a lot more enjoyable!

Meet with a Career Counselor

The Career Center offers individual career counseling and career assessments for all students. Working with a career counselor can help you:

  • Decide on a major
  • Investigate ways to use your major in the real world of work
  • Discuss your ideas and concerns about career-related issues
  • Make effective career decisions
  • Learn how to do a professional job search
  • Create a targeted resume
  • Develop effective interviewing techniques

A student can meet with a career counselor and ask a quick question during Drop-In Hours, or make a one-on-one career counseling appointment to discuss issues more in-depth. Students wishing to schedule an appointment should contact the career counselor directly. Evening hours are at the discretion of each counselor.
