Career Expo Fall 2009 -- Friday, October 30th

General Information

The Career Expo is a general career fair that targets students and alumni from all majors for entry-level positions and internships. We expect employers representing businesses, non-profits and government agencies to participate in this one-day recruiting event. The event is opened only to SF State students and alumni. Please bring your SF State student ID or other documentation to show that you are / were a SF State student.

By attending a career event, you understand that you are a guest of the organizations sponsoring the career event. You also understand that the Career Center reserves the right to ask guests to leave.

Students and alumni should bring their resumes and wear professional business attire.

Information for Employers Interested in Registering for the Event

• Space is limited!

Regular Registration is $375 and Non-Profit/Government Registration is $225.

Registration includes shuttle service (from our off-campus event parking lot), one table, two chairs and two lunches.

• The Expo is widely marketed and will be well attended -- it will be a great opportunity for you to publicize your employment needs, internships, and organization to SF State’s diverse student population of 30,000.  For information regarding our student demographics, click here.
  

• To register for the Career Expo, please follow the steps below to access the online registration:
  
  
  1. On the left side of this Web site, click on the "GatorJOBS" link.
     
  2. Under "Post Jobs/Register for Events" click the "Employers/Recruiters" link.
     
  3. If you already have an account with GatorJOBS, enter your Username/Email Address and Password in the appropriate fields, then click the "Login" button.
     
     If you are a new user to GatorJOBS, click on the "Click here to register!" link at the bottom of that page to create a new account.
     
  4. After logging into your GatorJOBS account, click on the "Career Fairs and Events" link, on the menu bar at the top of your account homepage.
     
  5. Click the "Search" button.
     
  6. Locate the event and click on it to begin the online registration.
