Partners in Progress: Towards a Civically Engaged California

 

CACC, with support from the Corporation for National and Community Service: Learn and Serve America Higher Education (CNCS), is pleased to announce a small-scale grant program as part of Partners in Progress: Towards a Civically Engaged California, available for funding programs that fulfill California’s civic mission of education.

The Partners in Progress program is a three-year project that will incorporate a variety of methods to engage postsecondary institutions in addressing the needs of California communities, including funding programs tailored to meet California’s unique needs around fulfilling the civic mission of education through civic engagement and service learning.

The successful applicants will receive one subgrant of up to $5,000 each, as well as training and technical assistance. This grant program requires a 2-1 match (thus up to $10,000 in matching funds). Grant period : February 1, 2005 through August 31, 2005.

Applications are being sought from CACC member institutions. Non-member campuses can join our organization in order to become eligible for grant funding, but note that grant funds cannot be used for membership dues.Only one application per institution will be accepted.
