CACC Staff Elaine Ikeda Elaine has been the executive director of CACC since 2000. Previously she was the director of the UCLA Service-Learning Clearinghouse Project, providing service-learning resources to higher education institutions across the nation. Prior to this, Elaine was a research analyst at the UCLA Higher Education Research Institute where she conducted research on service-learning. Elaine holds a doctorate in higher education and organizational change from UCLA and a master's degree in public health from California State University, Long Beach. In her free time, Elaine enjoys watching movies, playing tennis or golf, and hanging out with her friends and family. Mun Loke Mun Loke came to CACC in March 2004. Previously, he was the lab manager of California Computer Learning Center, and the academic advisor of the Center for Electronic Art. Mun holds an MA in Broadcast Electronic Communication Arts, and is working towards a second MA in Instructional Technology, both from SFSU. Mun spends his free time volunteering at Newcomer HS, and working on his creative project. Lily Rahnema Lily Rahnema graduated from San Francisco State University in 2004, with a BA in International Relations focusing in Middle Eastern Studies. She actively participated in service learning throughout high school and college, and served as an Americorps member through the Robert F. Kennedy Fellowship program. Lily came to CACC as a Program Assistant in 2003 and is now Project Coordinator of the Students In Service Americorps program. Amra Stafford Amra Stafford was formerly the service-learning director at Sonoma State University. More bio coming soon. Tram Vu Tram B. Vu is currently attending San Francisco State University majoring in Child and Adolescent Development to become a school counselor. She was an Administration Assistant in the Disability Support Service Office - Counselor Department for the Houston Community College System. Tram enjoys listening to music (guitar, piano and saxophone), cooking, and singing in a choir. Tram was a member of Sunflower Mission, a non-profit organization that raised funds to build schools and provide scholarships to students in rural areas of Vietnam. Andy Johnson |
