Wireless Access
Wireless access is free for students, faculty and staff, and available across broad portions of the campus, including the J. Paul Leonard Library, the Cesar Chavez Center, and the Business and Humanities buildings. Outdoor wireless coverage inlcudes the Quad, and the large area between the Humanities and Fine Arts buildings and Burk Hall.
To use wireless access, your computer must have a wireless card that meets the IEEE 8o2.IIb standard (see the manufacturer's specifications). To log on, turn on your wireless card, then open your Web browser to any Web page. The network will automatically redirect you to a page asking for your SF State login; enter your university email address (without the @sfsu.edu portion), and the password you use to access your mail.
