IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Duplex printing with shared laser printers
Duplex

Office 2011 for Mac
The new Office for Mac is now available. Outlook is included for the first time and Entourage is eliminated. As with all Microsoft software, it can only be installed on SFSU-owned computers. Click here to request this software, as well as other available titles.
Office 2010 for Windows
The new Office for Windows is now available. Like Windows Vista & 7, Office 2010 activates by connecting to a server in DoIT rather than using an install code, and needs to re-activate every 6 months. Activation is automatic on campus (including the DTC). Off-campus, activation must be done manually by using the VPN client to get through the administrative firewall and then typing a few DOS commands. For instructions, please contact the Business Computing Helpdesk.
Windows 7
Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit & 64-bit versions are now available for installation.
NOTES:
1.
Upgrading from Windows XP requires a clean install, which means your hard drive will be erased, so you'll need to back up your files & email, and all programs will need to be re-installed.
2. Upgrading from Vista will keep your files & programs intact.
3. Windows 7 does not include Outlook Express/Windows Mail, so if you use that you'll need to switch to another email program.
Using SAS with Windows Vista
SAS 9.2 is now available for installation. This version supports the following Windows Vista 32-bit & 64-bit editions only:
Windows Vista Business
Windows Vista Enterprise - available only to Microsoft Enterprise Agreement customers
Windows Vista Ultimate
SAS 9.2 does NOT support Windows Vista Home Premium & Windows Vista Home Basic.
SAS 9.2 does support Windows 7.
