Fee and Payment Information

 

Important Notice:

The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum.  Tuition fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate.  Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after initial tuition fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed tuition fees, without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun.  All CSU listed tuition fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees and/or the Campus.

 

 

 

Spring 2013 Important Dates
November, 29, 2012
 
 Fee payment deadline period. Tuition and Registration Fees must be paid by the fee payment deadline of November 29, 2012 (by 5:00pm in-person, 11:00pm online) to be eligible to register for classes during Early Priority Registration for continuing students.
After November 29, 2012
 
 An additional non-refundable $20 administrative fee will be assessed on all late registration fee payments for continuing students.
December 3, 2012 – December 14, 2012
Early Priority Registration for continuing students.
December 25, 2012 – January 1, 2013
All offices closed.

January 7, 2013 -
January 18, 2013

 Priority Registration for new incoming students and Final Priority Registration for continuing students.
January 14, 2013
 Martin Luther King Day. No classes. All offices closed.
January 20, 2013 - January 27, 2013
 Open Registration period (requires a non-refundable $25 late fee unless admitted after the Priority Registration period).
January 25, 2013
 Last day for 100% refund for students who drop all classes/withdraw from the University  (see Refund Guidelines).
January 28, 2013
Monday
First day of instruction.
January 28 2013 -
April 9, 2013
Pro-rata refund for students who drop all classes/withdraw from the University (see Refund Guidelines).
February 8, 2013
  • Last day to drop classes without receiving a "W" grade.
  • Last day for partial refund of Tuition Fee for students with 6.1+ units who drop to and maintain 6.0 units or less (see Refund Guidelines).
  • Last day for Pro-rata refund of Nonresident tuition for international and out-of-state students who drop units resulting in lower tuition (see Refund Guidelines).
  • Last day for Pro-rata refund of Professional Program Fee and Program Program Fee for MBA/MSA students with 6.1+ units who drop units resulting in lower tuition (see Refund Guidelines).

  • Resident Installment - Second Payment Due.
  • Nonresident Installment - Second Payment Due.

    		 Withdrawal from classes with "W" grades (see Registration Schedule).

  • Last day to add classes without petition.
  • Last day to go on an Installment Plan

    		Cesar Chavez Day. All offices closed.
    April 5, 2013
    		 International Installment - Third Payment Due.Pro-rata refund deadline.
    April 9, 2013
    		 Pro-rata refund deadline.
    April 27, 2013 -
    May 17, 2013
    		Withdrawal from class(es) or from the University is not permitted during this period except in cases of verified accident or serious illness. Go to the One Stop Student Services Center for further instructions (see Refund Guidelines).
    May 3, 2013
    		International Installment - Fourth Payment Due.
    May 17, 2013
    		 Last day of Instruction.
    May 18, 2013 -
    May 24, 2013
    		Final examinations.
    May 27, 2013
    		Memorial Day Holiday. All offices closed.
    June 3, 2013
  • Grades due.
  • Semester ends.
    •     Important Notice: All University offices will be closed Monday, December 24, 2012 at noon through Tuesday, January 1, 2013.
