Fee and Payment Information

 

The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum.  Tuition fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate.  Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after initial tuition fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed tuition fees, without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun.  All CSU listed tuition fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees and/or the Campus.

Fee Payment Deadlines- Financial Aid Receiptant Fee Deadlines

 

Continuing Students
Incoming (1st Semester Students
Late Admission

 

 

 

For continuing students to take advantage of their Early Priority Registration classes their financial aid fee deferment must be issued prior to the fee payment deadline, December 1, 2011 before 5:00 pm.

 

If the financial aid fee deferment is issued after the payment deadline, December 1, 2011 then the student is assessed a non-refunable $20 administrative fee which must be paid with cash, check or certified funds. The non-refundable $20 administrative fee cannot be paid by a financial aid disbursement.

 

The financial aid fee deferment must be issued before the student will be able to register for classes during their schedule Final Priority Registration period.

 

If the financial aid fee deferment is issued after the Final Priority Registration period, January 18, 2012, then the student is assessed a non-refundable $20 administrative fee and a non-refundable $25 late registration fee which must be paid with cash, check or certified funds. The non-refundable $20 administrative fee and the non-refundable $25 late registration fee cannot be paid by a financial aid disbursement.

 

If the student is not awarded enough financial aid to pay all of their tuition fees then any balance above their financial aid award must be paid before the first day of instruction for the semester, January 23, 2012, to avoid being accessed a non-refundable $20 administrative fee.

 

Starting on the first day of instruction for the semester, January 23, 2012, all students who have an outstanding tuition fee and/or registration fee balance and who will not receive further financial aid will be assessed a non-refundable $20 administrative fee.

 

After the Add Deadline Date (Census date), February 17, 2012, students with a financial aid fee deferment that has not disbursed or have had their financial aid cancelled and have an outstanding tuition fee and/or registration fee balance will be assessed a non-refundable $20 administrative fee .

 

The non-refundable $20 administrative fee is assessed only once per semester for late payment.

 

Incoming (1st semester) students-admitted before registration period must have their financial aid fee deferment in place by their scheduled orientation date to enroll in classes at their orientation session.

 

If the incoming (1st semester) students does not attend an orientation session then their financial aid fee deferment must be issued before the student will be able to register for classes during their schedule Priority Registration period.

 

If the financial aid fee deferment is issued on or after the first day of instruction for the semester, January 23, 2012, then the student is assessed a non-refundable $20 administrative fee and a non-refundable $25 late registration fee which must be paid with cash, check or certified funds. The non-refundable $20 administrative fee and the $25 late registration fee cannot be paid by a financial aid disbursement.

After the Add Deadline Date (Census date), February 17, 2012, students with a financial aid fee deferment that has not disbursed or have had their financial aid cancelled and have an outstanding tuition fee and/or registration fee balance will be assessed a non-refund able $20 administrative fee .

 

The non-refundable $20 administrative fee is assessed only once per semester for late payment.

 

 

 

Late Admission: If the student is admitted at least two (2) weeks prior to the first day of instruction for the semester, January 23, 2012, then the student will not be assessed a non-refundable $20 administrative fee or the non-refundable $25 late registration fee.

 

If the student is admitted before the first day of instruction for the semester, January 23, 2012, and receives their financial aid fee deferment after the semester begins then they will be assessed a non-refundable $20 administrative fee and a non-refundable $25 late registration fee which must be paid with cash, check or certified funds. The non-refundable $20 administrative fee and the non-refundable $25 late registration fee cannot be paid by a financial aid disbursement.

 

Students admitted on the first day of instruction for the semester, January 23, 2012, or later have fourteen (14) days from their admitted date to have their financial aid fee deferment issued to avoid being assessed a non-refundable $20 administrative fee or the non-refundable $25 late registration fee.

 

After the Add Deadline Date (Census date), February 17, 2012, students with a financial aid fee deferment that has not disbursed or have had their financial aid cancelled and have an outstanding tuition fee and/or registration fee balance will be assessed a non-refundable $20 administrative fee .

 

The non-refundable $20 administrative fee is assessed only once per semester for late payment.
