Fee and Payment Information

 

Important Notice:

The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum.  Tuition fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate.  Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after initial tuition fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed tuition fees, without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun.  All CSU listed tuition fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees and/or the Campus.

 

 

 

Spring 2012 Important Dates
December 1, 2011
 Thursday
Fee payment deadline period. Tuition and Registration Fees must be paid by the fee payment deadline of December 1, 2011 (by 5:00pm in-person, 11:00pm online) to be eligible to register for classes during Early Priority Registration for continuing students.
After December 1, 2011
 Thursday
 An additional non-refundable $20 administrative fee will be assessed on all late registration fee payments for continuing students.
December 5, 2011 – December 16, 2011
Monday - Friday
Early Priority Registration for continuing students.
December 27, 2011 – January 2, 2012
Monday - Monday
Winter Break. All offices closed.
January 4, 2012 - January 18, 2012
Wednesday - Wednesday
 Priority Registration for new incoming students and Final Priority Registration for continuing students.
January 16, 2012
Monday
 Martin Luther King Day. No classes. All offices closed.
January 19, 2012 - January 22, 2012
Sunday - Friday
 Open Registration period (requires a non-refundable $25 late fee unless admitted after the Priority Registration period).
January 20, 2012
Friday
Last day for 100% refund for students who drop all classes/withdraw from the University  (see Refund Guidelines).
January 23, 2012
Monday
First day of instruction.
January 23, 2012 - April 3, 2012
Monday-Tuesday
Pro-rata refund for students who drop all classes/withdraw from the University (see Refund Guidelines).
February 3, 2012
Friday
  • Last day to drop classes without receiving a "W" grade.
  • Last day for partial refund of Tuition Fee for students with 6.1+ units who drop to and maintain 6.0 units or less (see Refund Guidelines).
  • Last day for Pro-rata refund of Nonresident tuition for international and out-of-state students who drop units resulting in lower tuition (see Refund Guidelines).
  • Last day for Pro-rata refund of Professional Program Fee and Program Program Fee for MBA/MSBA students with 6.1+ units who drop units resulting in lower tuition (see Refund Guidelines).

    		Withdrawal from class(es) or from the University is not permitted during this period except in cases of verified accident or serious illness. Go to the One Stop Student Services Center for further instructions (see Refund Guidelines).

    		International Installment - Fourth Payment Due.

    		 ILast day of Instruction.
    May 12, 2012 - May 18, 2012

    		Final examinations.

    		Memorial Day holiday. All offices closed.
    June 1, 2012
    Friday
  • Grades due.
  • Semester ends.
    •     Important Notice: All University offices will be closed Friday, December 23, 2011 at noon through Monday, January 2, 2012.
