What is the convenience fee for using on-line payment processing?
The convenience fee charged by our current on-line payment provider is 2.5 percent for credit card transactions or $0.50 for electronic check transactions which is added to the total payment amount by Official Payments. This is the lowest rate charged among the CSU campuses, where typically students pay 2.9 percent for the convenience of using a credit card for online payments. We know three (3) CSU campuses where the convenience fee is 3.15 percent.
