Fee Information

The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum.  Tuition fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate.  Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after initial tuition fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed tuition fees, without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun.  All CSU listed tuition fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees and/or the campus.

Financial Aid Recipients

Continuing Students

April 29-May 10, 2013 Early Priority Registration- Continuing students may enroll in up to 8 units without a financial aid fee deferment on record.
July 11, 2013

Tuition Fee Payment Deadline for continuing students.
5:00pm, In person

Financial Aid fee deferment must be issued and recorded on your student account in order to not be dropped from Early Priority Registration classes.

July 12, 2013

$20 non-refundable administrative fee will be accessed when turning in a financial aid fee deferment. This administrative fee cannot be paid by a financial aid disbursement.

July 29-Aug. 9, 2013 Final Priority Registration - Student must have a financial aid fee deferment on record in order to register for classes during the Final Registration Period.
Aug. 10-Sept. 23, 2013

$25 non-refundable late registration fee and the $20 non-refundable administrative fee will be accessed when turning in a financial aid fee deferment. From the first day of instruction, August 26, 2013, only certified funds (Cash, Cashier's Check or Money Order) are accepted. This administrative fee and late fee cannot be paid by a financial aid

August 23, 2013

If Financial Aid award is not enough to cover all tuition and fees, any tuition and fee uncovered balance is due prior to the first day of instruction to avoid being accessed a $20 non-refundable administrative fee.

Late Admission

After the first day of instruction, you have two weeks from the date of admittance to turn in your financial aid fee deferment without incurring a $25 non-refundable late registration fee and $20 non-refundable administrative fee.

After September 23, 2013

Continuing students who wish to turn in a financial aid fee deferment must complete a Petition of Waiver of Financial Regulations Form. The Petition must be submitted to the Bursar's Office accompanied with a copy of the College of Regulations Form with appropriate signatures. If approved, you must turn in the financial aid fee deferment, plus the $25 non-refundable late registration fee and $20 non-refundable administrative fee with certified funds.

Students with a financial aid fee deferment that has not disbursed or have had their financial aid cancelled and have an outstanding tuition and fee balance will be assessed a non-refundable $20 administrative fee.

Please note: After this date, your tuition and fees are no longer deferred. Any unpaid tuition fee balance that is greater than $10.00 will result in a financial hold being placed on the student's account.

Please note: You cannot pay your tuition and fees on the same day you plan to register for classes. Please allow 1-2 business days for the system to update.

The non-refundable $20 administrative fee is assessed only once per semester for late payment.

Incoming/First Time Students

On or before August 9, 2013

A financial aid fee deferment must be on the student's account prior to their orienation date in order to register on the day of orientation. If not attending orientation, tuition is due 1-2 business days before their priority registration period.
