Fee Information

The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum.  Tuition fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate.  Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after initial tuition fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed tuition fees, without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun.  All CSU listed tuition fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees and/or the campus.


Fall 2012

Installment Plans- Resident Students

For resident students, the CA Resident Installment contract requires the first payment of:

  • One-third of the Tuition Fee
  • All local fees
  • A non-refundable $33 administrative fee
  • Any late registration or administrative fees

The second and third installments shall each equal one-third of the total Tuition Fee.

Students can sign-up for the installment plan through the census date, September 24, 2012. After September 7, 2012, both the first and second payments are due.

Late Installments: For any late installment payments, an additional administrative fee of $20 will be assessed.


Payment Due Dates for Resident Students:

Fall 2012
    1st Payment By fee payment deadline, July 12, 2012, or no later than September 24, 2012
    2nd Payment    September 7, 2012
    3rd Payment    October 5, 2012

REMEMBER: If you have not paid your fees in full, you cannot enroll during the Registration Period.

In the event of an increase in fees, students are fully responsible to pay the difference without submitting an updated installment agreement form.
