Fee and Payment Information

 

The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum.  Tuition fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate.  Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after initial tuition fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed tuition fees, without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun.  All CSU listed tuition fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees and/or the Campus.

 

Important Information:

Tuition Fee: The CSU Board of Trustees at its July 12, 2011 meeting approved a 12% increase to the Tuition Fee for undergraduate, graduate, and credential students that is effective with the Fall 2011 semester. Students not receiving financial aid or other subsidies will have until Monday, August 22, 2011 to pay the difference to avoid a non-refundable $20 administrative fee and a financial hold on their account.

 

Tuition Fee: The CSU Board of Trustees at its November 10, 2010 meeting approved a 10% increase to the Tuition Fee for undergraduate, graduate, and credential students that is effective with the Fall 2011 semester.

 

Professional Program Fee: The CSU Board of Trustees at its November 10, 2010 meeting approved a 10% increase to the professional program fee for state-supported Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) programs and similar business graduate degrees that is effective with the Fall 2011 semester.

 

 

Fall 2011

Installment Plans

All students who are eligible to enroll may use the installment plan, with the exception of students with Financial Aid deferments, approved waivers (not including nonresident exemption waiver) or subsidies, or students who defaulted twice on their Installment Plan agreements in the previous semester. Past due obligations must be paid on, before or with the first installment payment.

 

Students can sign-up for the installment plan through the census date, September 20, 2011. After September 9, 2011 both the first and second payments are due.

 

If you plan to participate in either plan for Fall 2011, complete the appropriate Tuition/Fee Installment Agreement form and submit it with your first installment payment to the Bursar's Office, ADM 155 or Student Services Building., Rm. 103. Students who miss the registration period and wish to participate in a deferred payment plan must go to the Bursar's Office.

 

In the event of an increase in tuition and/or registration fees, students are fully responsible to pay the difference without submitting an updated installment agreement form.
