Fee and Payment Information

 

Important Notice:

The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum.  Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate.  Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after initial fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees, without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun.  All CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees and/or the Campus.

 

 

 

Fall 2010 Important Dates
May 3, 2010 – May 14, 2010
Monday - Friday
 Early Priority Registration for continuing students.
July 8, 2010
 Thursday
Fee payment deadline period. Fees must be paid by the fee payment deadline of July 8, 2010 (by 5:00pm) to be eligible to register for classes during Final Priority Registration period in January.
After July 8, 2010
 Thursday
An additional $20 administrative fee will be assessed on all late registration fee payments for continuing students.
July 26, 2010 - August 6, 2010
Monday - Friday
Priority Registration for new incoming students and Final Priority Registration for continuing students.
August 7, 2010
Saturday
 $25 late registration fee is applicable
August 8, 2010 - August 23, 2010
Sunday - Monday
Open Registration period (requires a $25 late fee unless admitted after the Priority Registration period).
August 23, 2010

  • Last day for 100% refund for students who drop all classes/withdraw from the University  (see Refund Guidelines).
  • Last day to pay fee increase without $20 administrative fee.

    		First day of instruction.
    August 24, 2010 – October 29, 2010
     Tuesday - Friday
    		Pro-rata refund for students who drop all classes/withdraw from the University (see Refund Guidelines).
    September 6, 2010
    Monday
    		Labor Day. No classes; all offices closed.
    September 7, 2010
    Tuesday
  • Last day to drop classes without receiving a "W" grade.
  • Last day for partial refund of State University fee for students with 6.1+ units who drop to and maintain 6.0 units or less (see Refund Guidelines).
  • Last day for Pro-rata refund of Nonresident tuition for international and out-of-state students who drop units resulting in lower tuition (see Refund Guidelines).
  • Last day for Pro-rata refund of MBA/MSBA Professional Fee and MBA/MSBA Program Fee for MBA/MSBA students with 6.1+ units who drop units resulting in lower tuition (see Refund Guidelines).

    		Thanksgiving recess. No classes; all offices closed on November 25, 2010 and November 26, 2010.
    December 3, 2010
    Friday
    		International Installment - Fourth Payment Due.
    December 14, 2010 - December 20, 2010
    Tuesday - Monday
    		Final examinations.
    December 21, 2010 - January 23, 2011
    Tuesday - Sunday
    		Winter recess. No classes.
    January 3, 2011
    Monday
  • Grades due.
  • Semester ends.
    •     Important Notice: All University offices will be closed Thursday, December 23, 2010 at noon through Sunday, January 2, 2011.
