INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SERVICES

The Office of International Programs is the primary office on campus meeting the many needs of degree-seeking international students; visiting international students, faculty, and scholars; and native SFSU students and faculty wishing to work or study abroad. At the beginning of each semester, the office presents an orientation for new international students arriving on campus. In addition, the office (ICTR 1) provides general advising concerning academic requirements, as well as information about immigration and naturalization regulations and procedures. Information is also given regarding the availability of housing and extracurricular and social opportunities for the international student to pursue. The office is open throughout the year for advising and administrative services.

Native SFSU students interested in studying overseas should inquire at the Office of International Programs in ICTR to learn about the opportunities which are available (see also "Alternative Learning Opportunities" section of this Bulletin). International Programs offered under the auspices of the California State University, bilateral exchange programs between San Francisco State University and selected foreign universities, or enrollment in one of a number of other international study programs around the world are all possibilities.
