HIST 590 : Asian History: Taiwan: History, Memory, and Imagination

Prerequisites: Upper division standing, ENG 214, or consent of instructor.
Description: Exploration of Taiwan's colonial legacies, ethnic tensions, democratization, as well as social, cultural, demographic, and economic developments through a historical study of films and fiction.
