BIOL 490 : Ecology of Infectious Diseases

Prerequisites: BIOL 230, BIOL 240 with grade of C- or better.
Description: Examination of ecological and evolutionary processes that govern the transmission of pathogens in animal and plant systems including factors that lead to disease emergence, the impact of diseases on host populations, and theoretical foundations of disease ecology.
