| Prerequisites: | Contracted with an approved field training site. Students must be matriculated as graduate students in the counseling department at SF State. COUN 702 (may be concurrently enrolled). Must be taken concurrently with COUN 706. |
| Description: | Initial practicum experience. Clinical interviewing skills. Development of clinically and culturally competent interviewing, assessment and intervention skills that reflect an integration of a counselor's understanding of oneself and others as well as the integration of counseling theories that inform interventions.
