| Prerequisites: | COUN 702 (may be taken concurrently). Contracted with an approved field training site. Students must be matriculated as graduate students in counsing department at SF State. Must be taken concurrently with COUN 705. Must earn a grade of B or better. |
| Description: | Development of self-awareness, knowledge, and skills as the relate to clinical interviewing. Development of basic clinical skills in relationship to the design of client intervention, including interviewing, rapport building, assessment, case conceptualization, crisis management. Development of basic sense of self in clinical interviewing; individual growth in clinical process. (Plus-minus letter grade only.) [CSL may be available; consult index for page reference.] |
