GEOG 317 : Geography of Soils

Prerequisites: GEOG 101, GEOG 103, and GEOL 100; or consent of instructor.
Description: Properties of soils and factors of formation: parent material, climate, organisms, topography, and time. Distribution of taxonomic suborders. Soils as a natural resource. Classwork, 3 units; laboratory and field work, 1 unit.
