NURS 311 : Human Development and Health Assessment Theory and Lab

Prerequisites: Admission to nursing major and upper division standing. Must be taken concurrently with NURS 312GW and NURS 314.
Description: Examination of physical assessment techniques, appropriate use of commonly used screening tools, health information technologies, HIPAA, developmental considerations in assessment, interviewing techniques, screening, dosage calculations, and basic nursing interventions. Lecture, 3 units; laboratory, 2 units. Extra fee required.
