WGS 710 : Feminist Social Movements

Prerequisites: WGS 700 or consent of instructor.
Description: Social stratification and the state; political marginalization of women. Egalitarianism in the legacy of women's participation in society. Colonial transformations and the politics/culture of resistance. Turning points in women's activism. Impact of race/class inequities.
