PHIL 770 : Plato and Aristotle: Categories and Conceptions of Being

Prerequisites: Graduate standing or consent of instructor.
Description: Investigation of Plato?s and Aristotle?s categories and conceptions of being, with special attention to issues of ontology, metaphysics, philosophy of language and philosophy of mind in their philosophical frameworks.
