I R 738 : Contemporary International Legal Issues

Prerequisites: Graduate standing in IR or upper division standing in IR with consent of instructor.
Description: Introduces fundamentals of international public law: sources, subjects, sovereignty, jurisdiction, immunity, and responsibility of states. Provides thorough analysis of recent substantial and institutional development in the fields of the environment, trade, use of force, and universal crimes. (Intended for majors only.)
