| Description: | Exploration of why hunger persists in a world of abundance; food aid, farm policy, and global food trade; whether production can match population growth without environmental harm; crop genetic engineering, international policies and movements for sustainability, and food sovereignty/security. This course is offered as I R 428 and GEOG 428. Students may not repeat the course under an alternate prefix. |
