I R 328 : Domestic and Foreign Policy: Post-Communist Regions

Prerequisites: ENG 214 and upper division standing.
Description: Development and subsequent dynamics of what used to be called the Soviet Bloc. Analysis of current relations in light of events in the post-World War II period, as in discussing the Soviet role in Poland's policies toward Solidarity. This course is offered as I R 328 and PLSI 328. Students may not repeat the course under an alternate prefix. [GE]
